OUR TEAM
Assoc. Prof. Derya Y. Koseoglu-Imer heads the Innobrane research group. Our research group consists of Postdoctoral Researchers (PDRA), PhD/MSc students, and academic and professional collaborators and mentors with multidisciplinary backgrounds.
As a team, our primary goal is to provide intensive theoretical and practical training in membrane science and technology. This is because the broad and proper application of membrane technologies depends on personal training. Our students, who will be the membrane scientists of the future, form the basis of the team. In our team, knowledge and experience are shared with academic and professional guidance to make them competent scientists and professionals in their field in the future. We try to design training activities with specific seminar programs, writing projects and scientific papers, training on laboratory equipment, simulation programs, and decision-making tools etc. We emphasize an academic teaching pyramid within our group for knowledge transfer (from PhD students to MSc and undergraduate students), for experience sharing and career planning (from PDRA to PhD students), and for obtaining an academic and professional vision from our mentor academicians and membrane industry professionals.
We look forward to collaborating with enthusiastic and motivated students, academicians and professionals who can successfully overcome challenges and contribute to science and/or industry by applying their high-level fundamental research and knowledge to advance membrane science and technology.
For PDRA/PhD/MSc fellowships in our research group and also for academic and industrial collaborations, please contact us with email: hello@innobrane.com
